dr. saul petersen

Dr. Saul Petersen is Executive Director of New Jersey Campus Compact (NJCC), a 501c3 higher education presidents' coalition focused on supporting community prosperity through purposeful community engagement. Dr. Petersen joined the Campus Compact leadership in 2010 and became director at NJCC in 2013, since which time the coalition has grown from a staff of 1 and a budget of $100,000 to a total FY18 budget of $1M and a team of 22 living and giving in New Jersey.

Sarahdjie "JiJi" Monosiet

Sarahdjie, fondly referred to as JiJi, is the Associate Director for the NJ Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA program as well as the Engage NJ Communications Manager. Originally from Haiti, she is a William Paterson University alumni with dual degrees in Psychology and Liberal Arts (concentration in History and English). Sarahdjie has completed a term as the VISTA Leader for the first NJCC AmeriCorps VISTA cohort,as well as a Bonner AmeriCorps VISTA service term with PEI Kids Inc. As a NJ resident with a history of volunteerism and community service, Sarahdjie hopes to raise the awareness of the passion that New Jersey residents have for volunteering to improve their communities. She also looks forward to broadcasting that in turn, those volunteer experiences will further develop the workforces that will help New Jersey thrive. In her spare time she enjoys making dance videos with her 10 year old daughter

Ebony Torres

As EngageNJ's coordinator, Ebony Torres manages content for EngageNJ's quarterly newsletters, edits both NJ Campus Compact and EngageNJ websites, and assists with social media. Ebony's background in Media Arts allows her to create content via 

Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Canva, and several other applications. She plans to graduate New Jersey City University in the Spring of 2021 with a B.A. in Media Arts and a minor in Art History. She likes to spend her free-time caring for the animals on her parent's farm.
